Jahorinaski is an internet service that provides direct contact between potential guests, owners of accommodation and service providers in the ski resort and a wider area of ​​the mountain Jahorina, in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Our goal is to help people communicate effectively with minimal third-party mediation. This type of communication should lower double bookings and misunderstandings to a minimum.

The Founder’s Story

As the accommodation owner, I partnered with some well-known accommodation booking online platforms. These platforms were bringing me guests, and I feel thankful for that. On the other hand, they caused lots of challenges and often frustrations. I had to keep a close eye on each calendar all the time to make sure that it synchronized with a calendar on another platform and the one I kept personally. I often faced almost double bookings where I had to reject the guest from coming online or the one who contacted me directly. In the off-season period, I kept these online platform calendars closed, or I thought so. Not only once did these calendars magically unopened without previous notice and my knowledge and guests booked a stay. The result was a double booking, and I had to pay extra penalties, together with (not small) the following booking fee.

I thought it would be nice to have a platform to showcase my accommodation units and where potential guests would refer directly to me. Why not make available the same for other owners and businesses in this area? Consequently, on 5 November  2022,   an internet service that provides direct contact between potential guests, owners of accommodation and service providers, Jahorinaski, was born.
